For habits and facts. Add -s for he / she / it.

a / an / the

Use a/an for something general, the for something specific.

✓ “I saw a dog. The dog was big.”

A2 · ELEMENTARY

Past Simple

For finished actions. Regular verbs add -ed.

✗ “I watch a movie yesterday.”

much / many

Use many for countable, much for uncountable nouns.

Present Perfect

For past actions with a result now. Use have/has + past participle.

will vs going to

will for decisions now; going to for plans.
